Event 3: TechMove

Theme:  Space Colonization: Uninhabitable Earth

People all across the globe are facing different environmental challenges on a daily basis which has impacted humankind drastically. Famine, economic collapse, a sun that cooks us, rising land temperature, greenhouse emissions: These climate change could wreak — sooner than we think Future Now is extending grandest challenges faced by humankind. To save humanity we need to explore space. Space-based technologies provide unique tools for planning socially and environmentally sustainable human settlements. “Planet B/Space B ” — a secondary option if Earth can no longer support … humans have considered the possibilities of living on other planets/space for a long time. Space colonization is permanent human habitation off the planet Earth. To survive the next thousand years, humans must save Earth and then venture beyond it.  ‘’The future is the solar system, and if we get things right, that’s where we’re headed…… We are running out of space, and the only places to go to are other worlds.”

Weave a story around challenges which can face while exploring other planets/space for living. The story should include the challenges, various space technologies and the advantages of space settlements.

Tech-Move  is open to students for classes VII & VIII(one from each class).
